نعم أصبح الحلم حقيقة بهذه الفكرة العظيمة حيث يستطيع شخص في نيويورك أن يرى شخص آخر في لندن في نفس اللحظه ويستطيع ويكتب رسالة على لوح ويعرضها أمامه .
إن صاحب هذه الفكره هو الفنان بول سان جورج Paul St George حيث استوحا هذه الفكرة من حلم جده الأكبر سانت جورج الكسندر Alexander Stanhope St George بأن يشيد نفق بين نيويورك ولندن .
لكنه لايوجد نفق بين نيويورك ولندن بل أنه تم استخدام كمرات حديثة متطورة مثبته في كلا الطرفين وتتصل بشبكة انترنت عالية السرعة .

أما عن مكان هذا التلسكوب في نيويورك فتجده عند جسر بروكيلن Brooklyn Bridge والأخر تجده في لندن في فولتن فيري Fulton Ferry عند جسر برج لندن London's Tower Bridge .
يبلغ طول التلسكوب 11.2 متر ( 37 قدماً ) وارتفاعه 3.3 متر ( 11 قدماً ) .
وتم افتتاح هذا المشروح في 27 مايو2008 ويمكن لمن في نيويورك المشاهده من خلاله مجاناً أما في لندن فيجب أن تدفع 1 £ .

Telescope connecting London and New York
The Telectroscope – a giant telescope that gives you the possibility to see all the way from London to New York was introduced today in both capitals during the celebration of the 125th anniversary of the Brooklyn Bridge.
Telectroscope is an 11.2-meter long and 3.3-meter tall gigantic device adorned with gold and wood that gives a great vision of what is happening on the other size of the Atlantic in real time
The dream of creating this wonder was made true by an artist Paul St George. He was inspired by the idea of his great-grandfather Alexander Stanhope St George
The giant telescope doesn't actually cross the deep soil, but it does allow citizens from New York and London to see what happens in each other's city. And in live video. Thanks, not to a tunnel, but to a transatlantic Internet connection with high definition cameras on both ends. While on the banks of the River Thames it's getting dark, New York is seeing its first rays of light. It's an idea that spikes up your imagination and is based on ancient humanity dreams. The "Telectroscope" will be opened to both cities' public, 24 hours a day, until the 15th of June.
